What do I need to register?
To Register & Reserve A Chair, you Must have these items on file:
Drivers license
Professional License
(Braiders are exempt from providing a license. The State of Va does not require it.)
How much is liability insurance?

Can I leave my personal belongings.
No, you must take all items with you when your rental period is over. If you rent for 3 consecutive days you can leave your items until the end of your rental. If you rent for one day all items must be out at the end of your rental.
What form of payment do you accept?
You must pay online using your credit or debit card. All forms of major cards are accepted.
Can I reschedule my reservation?
Unfortunately, you can not reschedule. All sales are final.
Can I rent a room for A Class or Seminar I want to have?
Yes! At the moment, our Rent-A-Suite is only large enough for private one on one classes. The rate is the same.
Why do I need liability insurance?
LIABILITY INSURANCE IS NOW INCLUDED WITH YOUR RENTAL FOR LICENSED PROFESSIONALS.
If you are a Braider you will need to purchase liability insurance. It's about $105 per year. It covers you and the salon in case of an incident involving you or your client. It also covers your personal belongings and tools.
Do I have to register everytime I want to rent a salon chair?
No, once you submit required documention you will be able to log into your account and rent anytime. Register once and you're approved for unlimited rentals.
Can I rent for several weeks or months in advance ?
Yes you can reserve a salon chair up to one year out. Please keep in mind that you must pay up front to reserve. We do not hold the space.
Do you allow same day rentals.
Yes as long as you are registered, you can rent same day. If you can't book online you will need to text the words "RENT A CHAIR NOW" to 757-337-6769 or
text/call 757-870-6300.
Can I bring an assistant?
Unfortunately only one person allowed per rental. No assistants allowed
Can I rent more than one chair at a time?
Yes! You can rent as many as you need if available Please remember that all fees are due at the time of booking.
Where do I get professional liability insurance?
We recommend purchasing from https://www.insurebodywork.com/hairstylists-insurance. You can receive your policy instantly and it's very affordable.
What Services Can be performed in Rent-A-Chair For A Day?
Only Hair Services, Barbering, Braiding, Lashes, Makeup,
Rent A Suite is not designed for Massage Services, Esthetics, Nails, Body Services or any Service that requires special equipment other than what a hair stylist uses.
If I rent and change my mind is my money refundable?
Unfortunately, all rentals are final sale.
Will I be in a salon suite by myself?
Yes, when you reserve a suite, the room is reserved exclusively for you only.
What does Rent-A-Chair-For-A-Day Include?
Access to one Salon Suite which is a full room with a lockable door, all salon furnishing needed to offer cosmetology & related services, a hooded dryers, shampoo bowl & towels. You'll have access to the building for one full day, water, AC, Heat, one locker, and cabinet storage. You are required to bring your own tools & products.
